2011 Wicked Women Writers Challenge is On!

I know I’m not the most reliable blogger, but I’m working on it.  Life keeps interferring. Anyway, just a quick post to let you know the Wicked Women Writers Challenge for 2011 is on!  Follow the link to listen to 10 amazing stories by 10 Wicked Women, then vote for your favorite.  The woman with the most votes will be crowned Most Wicked 2011 and one lucky voter will win a prize box from the ladies.  Prizes could be anything from a nice thank you letter to signed copies of books.

Wicked Women Writers 2011

The Wicked Women Writers are at it again, and I am one of them. It’s time for the annual contest and each story will be podcast later this year. I’ll post when they go up. You all know who to vote for though, right?

Last year’s theme was the Seven Deadly Sins. This year’s isn’t quite as, dare I say, easy? There are 16 participants and Rhonda, in true Wicked Woman fashion, assigned us each a poison, an object and a location. What’s mine? Listen and find out.

The story was started, then took a hard left turn, and is now on its way to being around 10,000 words. Just a skosh over the 3500 word limit for the contest. So I started a second for the contest. That one took a turn too. Into what? I have no idea yet. So here I am, waiting for a third idea to rear up and hoping this one will be corraled by the word count instead of busting through it and taking off. We will see.
